A Snowflake’s Embrace With a Lake - A Poem
.jpg)
A snowflake’s fragile details are something only its best friend or greatest enemy will ever see
A street puddle and a snowflake are both water, but does that mean they deserve to touch
If the cold could keep
The snow on the tree
Would people complain about the disgusting slush
The beauty in a snowflake disintegrates the moment it skims a puddle’s fudge
The snowflake skims the puddle, and the light it used to reflect is muddled
On the surface is a mixture of ugly and perfect
The falling of snow, makes the puddle overflow, too much
All snowflakes should join each other on hills where they can remain intact. It's only fair, after all, since water the snow turns back
Clear water on a hill
Better than the beauty kill
Of a puddle
A snowflake achieves the right angle to blind me with the sun
Then, the sun eradicates both the puddle and the snow
The beauty disappears, the one I used to know
